IWCF LEVEL 3 Drilling Well Control
The IWCF Level 3 Drilling Well Control course is essential training for those currently working in a role that is expected to shut-in a well. The course aims to reinforce and improve the candidate’s existing knowledge and appreciation of the various stages of shutting-in a well; from kick detection to shutting in the well, to monitoring once the well is shut in and monitoring the well-kill operation.
Virtual or Classroom Based Training
Pre-requisites:- IWCF Candidate Registration(CR) number
- Prior IWCF certificate at Driller level or above
- Classroom based instructor led
- Virtual Training with live instructor
- Drilling/Intervention Wellsite Supervisor, Superintendent or Company Man
- Office based Drilling/Intervention Supervisor
- Office based Drilling/Intervention Superintendent
- Tool Pusher
- Wellsite Well Testing Supervisor
- Wellsite Completions Supervisor
- Intervention Supervisor
- Offshore Installation Manager (OIM)
- Drilling Contractor Rig Manager

The IWCF Level 4 Drilling Well Control course is essential training for those working in wellsite supervisory roles and for office-based personnel that are primarily involved in the operational decision-making process and/or well design.
Virtual or Classroom Based Training
Pre-requisites:
- IWCF Candidate Registration(CR) number
- Prior IWCF certificate at Driller level or above
Course Duration: 5 days
Certificate validity: 2 yearsDesigned for but not limited to:

Course Overview:
The IADC Well Sharp Drilling Course at the Introductory Level is designed to equip rig personnel with the essential knowledge and skills required during drilling operations. Covering both surface and subsea topics, this course provides practical insights into well drilling features and basic well control principles. It prepares the rig crew to effectively recognize, prevent, and respond to well control incidents during drilling operations.
